Project Results - A highly sensitive microwave radiometer, designed especially for underground water presence detection with great accuracy. - A CW ground penetrating radar, capable to detect slow underground water movement due to leakage. - A signal processing unit for the translation of received signals into information about leak location and extent. - An intelligent decision support system (DSS) based upon probabilistic methods and expert knowledge, which will provide valuable help to the assessment of the leakage. - A supporting vehicle integrating the microwave sensors, the signal processing units and the DSS for increased speed of operation and reduced effort from the user. |
